Legal · Privacy Policy
Moments checks in with you before meaningful moments in your day and helps you prepare. This policy explains, plainly, what information the App collects, why, and how you can remove it.
We collect only what the App needs to run check-ins and preparation tools:
When you connect Google Calendar, Moments requests read-only access through Google's OAuth flow. That access is used for exactly one purpose: to find your upcoming events and schedule a check-in before each one. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not build advertising profiles from it.
Moments' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke Moments' access to your Google Calendar at any time from your Google Account permissions page, or by disconnecting Calendar inside the App's settings. Revoking access stops future syncing; it does not automatically delete check-ins already created from past events — you can remove those from Settings → Data.
We do not sell your data. We share information only with the processors that run the App on our behalf, each bound to use it solely to provide their service to us:
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Moments or our users.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, so the App can keep learning your patterns. You can delete individual moments, insights, or reflections at any time from within the App. To delete your entire account and all associated data, use Settings → Account → Delete Account, or send us a message — we'll complete the deletion within 30 days.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest through our infrastructure providers. Access to production data is limited to what's needed to operate and support the App.
Moments is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the effective date above and, where required, notify you in the App.
Legal · Terms of Service
By downloading or using Moments, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
Moments helps you check in with yourself before meaningful events and offers short preparation exercises — breathing, grounding, guided reflection, and an AI coach conversation. Moments is not a medical device, and it does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or crisis support. If you're in crisis or need medical care, please contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Moments.
You own what you write and say to Moments. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate the features described in our Privacy Policy.
Moments is provided "as is." Insights, patterns, and AI-generated suggestions are offered for reflection, not as professional advice, and may be inaccurate. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, Moments and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We may update these terms as the App evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
